IDENTITY
a novel by
Deborah Sevilla
People have an innate desire to belong or fit in. They morph into groups. More than their appearance, it’s their demeanor, attitude, and language patterns. They are subconsciously molded by the company they keep.
Katherine made all those choices consciously. Contact lenses, makeup, hair coloring, and style were just the first steps to creating her identity. She expected a challenge. Tight groups always are.
It didn’t take her long to be accepted and to become a vital part of their lives, maybe that should have been the first clue that everything was not as it seemed.
She didn’t expect the project to be so entwined.
